Chapter 2:
As we marched down a long, thin path I cried inside my mind. “What have I
done?” I realized that I had gotten inside a never-ending nightmare. I caught
up with the other two strangers, I was determined to meet them. I accidentally
bumped into a tough looking girl. She had long thick brown hair and looked at
me in the eye. “I beg your pardon, these platforms are tricky to walk with” I
said in a low voice. “Then why do you wear them? Don’t you know we’re going to be
out here for weeks?” she asked me in an amusing voice. “I was getting prepared
to go home until one of the queen’s servants told me I had to be by her banquet
room in 2 minutes. I simply picked out the first things I saw and I did not
know anything about this” I responded. “But I do remember being a main solider
in my old village, everyone looked up to me, I am very capable of fighting” I lied
“Well my name is Amya, and you are” she waited for me to finish the phrase “I
am Sasha” I lied again. I could not believe I was filled with so many lies. We
all stopped cold when we spotted dark mountains. “Well, we have to go in” the other
stranger said bravely. His name was Jay, he had dreamy blue eyes with cold
black hair, and he looked pretty tough too. We all stepped down the mountain at
the same time, soon everyone disappeared. Only I was left in the mountain. In a
split second, scenes of my worst nightmare showed up. I saw the arrow that
killed my mother and father, my castle in fire and a venomous black spider
hissing at my people. I felt like I was there again, I saw dead bodies on the
ground and families screaming for help. I saw a black claw dragon coming out of
nowhere, causing even more damage. I could not live through that anymore. I
closed my eyes and fell to the ground.
Meanwhile, Amya and Jay where going through their dream. Amya saw
herself being separated from her family and being put into an orphan as a
slave, and then she saw the orphan in fire. She too, fell a huge pain crawling
through her heart, but she was strong enough to walk out of the mountain. As
she got out, she fell to the ground, blood sipping out her mouth. Jay was going
through his worst nightmare also. He saw his ship sinking and his family saying
their good byes as they sunk into the ocean. He saw himself fighting off sharks
and almost sinking himself. He too, got out but also started spitting out blood.
I woke up, my nightmare was still there, but I knew I needed to be strong. I
walked through the nightmare and as soon as I got out I fell to the warm,
ground. We all settled down by a tree and started building a campfire. When
Amya and Jay were gone, I casted a fire spell, which started a flame in the campfire.
Soon, that flame turned into an actual fire. When Amya and Jay came back, I
just told them that it all happened by itself. They had a hard time
understanding it, but they just let the thought go. We all fell asleep at the same time. As we all dreamed and wondered what would happen next.
